  • Represented some of the largest municipalities and school districts in New England at the collective bargaining table, negotiating hundreds of agreements, including initial and successor collective bargaining agreements, some individual, some under coalition bargaining, some traditional, and some interest-based;
  • Defended towns, cities, the State, boards of education and school committees, parking authorities, housing authorities, water and sewer districts, fire districts and other public sector employers in the multitude of issues that arise in the public sector workplace;
  • Became recognized regionally and nationally for providing a fresh perspective, new ideas, extraordinary results and a progressive approach to labor relations;
  • Presented a number of workshops at the National Public Employer Labor Relations Association’s annual training conference in several states, throughout the country;
  • Presented training programs at various state Public Employer Labor Relations Associations’ (PELRA) annual training programs throughout the country;
  • Appointed to serve on the Executive Committee for the Connecticut Public Employer Labor Relations Association;
  • Served as the secretary, treasurer, vice president and president of the Connecticut School Attorneys Council;
  • Successfully defended public sector employers in hundreds of grievance arbitrations, numerous discrimination cases and in several dozen unfair labor practice proceedings;
  • Represented public sector employers in several dozen interest arbitration cases achieving some precedent-setting results;
  • Produced $65 million of savings for one of the largest municipalities in New England through coalition bargaining;
  • Attained the first salary freeze through binding interest arbitration under the Connecticut Teacher Negotiation Act;
  • Retained by more than 35 municipalities and 40 school districts;
  • Defended school committees in public accommodation, school transportation and special education proceedings.
