FMLA Course
This course will provide everything you need to know on the FMLA from start to finish. We’ll cover the paperwork, requirements, how to manage intermittent leave, weird nuances that have come up, and present some hypotheticals to problem solve with you.
State Specific Leaves
This will provide an overview of all the state specific leaves, catered to the states your company is located in. We’ll go over the administrative functionality, how to manage the leave, and your legal obligations.
ADA
Easily one of the most misunderstood laws, this will bring clarity and structure where it has been absent. We’ll go over key definitions, potential blind spots, managing unwieldy situations, and how to analyze undue hardship.
Benefits Management
What happens with an employee’s benefits when they go out on leave? How do you recover owed premiums? How long do you have to cover premiums? These questions and more we will discuss on how to best manage employee’s obligations while they are out on leave and the legal requirements you must follow.
Job Restoration and Discipline
Invariably employees who come back from leave either have a lot to catch up on or are struggling to meet performance expectations. We’ll discuss how to best manage this when an employee comes back from leave to thread the needle of avoiding a retaliation or interference claim.
Multiple Leave Law Interactions
What happens when workers compensation, FMLA, PFML, and ShortTerm Disability combine? The perfect leave storm begins. We’ll provide the best methods and means to track these leaves and help you ensure that your organization isn’t exposed to additional claims.
