Program Overview
Our Performance Management Program is designed for for both supervisors and HR professionals.
Legal Risks and Liabilities
This course will provide an overview of the common employment law claims and violations we see in litigation, the theories used, and what makes a good case before the court or to encourage settlement.
Periodic Reviews
Whether its annual, every 6 months, or after 90 days, we’ll provide an overview of how these should be managed and what needs to be documented. We’ll also go over best practices and how to implement legal requirements that are practical and administratively make sense.
Progressive Discipline
We’ll provide an overview of how progressive discipline is supposed to be implemented, when you can vary, and when you need to be consistent. We’ll also provide an overview of a template code of conduct and behaviors you want to sure to be included in your handbook.
Performance Improvement Plans
PIPs are a common acronym in HR but do you really know how to use them? We’ll go over best practices, pitfalls, blind spots and how best to use them when managing the performance of your employees.
Terminations
These are never pleasant experiences, even if you have a low-drama termination. We are going to discuss what you should do in these meetings, the legal complications you should be aware of, and how to ensure it goes as smoothly as possible.
