Cassie brings a wealth of immigration and employment law experience to Foley & Foley. Working for a national law firm in Boston for several years, she has advised and counseled clients on day-to-day employee relations issues, including recruiting and on-boarding requirements, wage-and-hour laws, leaves of absence, and performance improvement plans. Cassie has crafted and edited corporate employment retention and immigration strategies related to employees in areas such as green card application policies, I-9 maintenance, and work authorization support for spouses. She has also created and delivered best practice trainings to HR professionals, recruiters, and project/practice group managers.
Cassie’s practice focuses on advising multinational companies, entrepreneurs, and start-up companies representing various industries, including marketing, retail, technology, communications, and architecture, on employment-based immigration matters, which includes the preparation of nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions and adjustment of status applications. Moreover, Cassie executes risk assessments for stakeholders regarding corporate restructuring and the impact on employees’ work authorization. Cassie’s experience in immigration legal matters includes having served in internships for the Boston Immigration Court and the Loyola University Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justice.
