The CDC issued interim guidance on persons who are fully vaccinated after two or more weeks from their last vaccine. Fully vaccinated people can:
- Visit with other fully vaccinated people indoors without wearing masks or physical distancing
- Visit with unvaccinated people from a single household who are at low risk for severe COVID-19 disease indoors without wearing masks or physical distancing
- Refrain from quarantine and testing following a known exposure if asymptomatic
WHAT ABOUT THE WORKPLACE? That is great right? Well, yes for the limited circumstances above. In every other instance–which is most likely your workplace–employees need to continue to mask, social distance, and follow employer protocols. So, if you have an intrepid employee who claims mask wearing is not needed, tell them the CDC disagrees. And so should you.
We expect the CDC and OSHA to adhere to the current COVID-19 protocols until and maybe well into 2022. Need a safety plan? A vaccine policy? We have easy to implement COVID-19 fixed fee solutions for your workplace so you can be in compliance. We can help.
